User management and permission settings for user groups

Latest updated: Mar 17, 2025
Video recording version: 8.0.0.465, compatible with BTS 8.0 software.

Open BTS 8.0 software and log in with your username and password. Only admin users can add or delete users or user groups. The relationship between administrators, user groups, and users is diagrammed. Admin alone can add, delete, and set testing permissions for user groups and users. Multiple user groups with different permissions can be created, and multiple users can be added under one group, all sharing the same permissions. This allows different users to conduct various test projects with the software, facilitating the management of tests and data.

Click "User", then "User management", to add, delete, or modify users and groups. For example, to add a group like neware-1, check the test permissions and submit. Modifying a group involves changing its permissions; submit the changes. To add a user, add them under a new group, set their username and password, and submit to complete the addition. Modifying a user involves changing their login password. Log out and log in as the new user; without the "Single start" permission checked, this feature is unavailable in the right-click menu. Click "User" and notice that users in the group cannot manage user settings. Re-log as an administrator to delete users or groups; select and submit to complete the action.
