Application of auxiliary channels and data export

Latest updated: Mar 17, 2025
Video recording version: 8.0.0.465, compatible with BTS 8.0 software.

Auxiliary channels collect voltage and temperature data during battery testing.

Open the step editing interface to set recording and protection conditions for auxiliary channels while editing test steps. The charge and discharge cycle steps shown are just an example. Click on "Auxiliary channel 1" in the lower right corner, set the sampling time to 10s to record data at 10s intervals. Voltage and temperature changes can also be set as recording conditions. These settings will apply to all steps. In step editing, you can also set parameters for the auxiliary channels in “Others”. The recording and protection conditions set here will apply to a single step.

You can also display auxiliary channel recording and protection conditions in step editing for easy parameter setting. Go back to the main interface, click "Set", then "System settings", and "Step edit". In "Step Parameter Settings", reveal auxiliary channel time record condition, voltage record condition, temperature record condition, or upper and lower limit protections, and voltage difference protections from the hidden bar. For example, reveal the time record condition. Click save, open the step editing interface, and the auxiliary channel time recording condition appears in step editing, with other unselected contents remaining in other options. Auxiliary channel recorded voltage and temperature can be used as conditional jumps or protections in steps. Click "If", select "Aux CH temp."(auxiliary channel temperature) or "Aux CH volt."(auxiliary channel voltage) as parameters. For example, select "Aux CH temp." and set channel protection when the temperature exceeds 50°C.

Auxiliary channel data can be exported along with the main channel data. Open the test data, click "Export report", and choose whether to export auxiliary channel data from multiple report types.
