The International Battery Materials Association Annual Meeting 2025

IBA annual conference series began in 1975 and has established a strong reputation for state-of-the-art presentations and information exchange on the latest emerging battery technologies and their wide-ranging applications.


Singapore has a growing battery technology cluster comprised of academic researchers from different universities, national laboratories and proactive early-stage industry players who are involved in the development of advanced battery technology. We are quite hopeful that this IBA 2025 conference will provide an excellent forum for interaction and friendship with world-wide renowned battery researchers for battery R&D.

Singapore being well connected with several countries in Asia, Europe and North America, will offer a stimulating location for the 2025 IBA meeting blending fundamental academic research with a vibrant battery industrial sector. Sponsors of the 2025 IBA conference will be given the opportunity to network with representatives of Singapore, Asia and Southeast Asia’s innovative battery companies, and hear their perspective on the future of battery R&D, the electric vehicle industry and the energy storage sector. Young talents from the Physics, Chemistry and Engineering departments at Singapore Universities and Research Organizations are eager to participate in scientific discussions, poster sessions and social events. Contributions from major innovators in the battery space and representative from various battery industries from China, Japan, Korea etc., are expected. We hope that this meeting will be a stimulating experience for our sponsors and our colleagues with an excellent scientific program, great weather, beautiful coastlines and delicious local cuisine.
