Precautions for connecting new and old equipment

Please make sure to follow the steps below:

1. Firstly, please confirm that the serial number of the newly purchased host computer or the auxiliary channel does not conflict with the serial numbers of existing old equipment.

2. Next, determine the version of the host computer. The Plus version of the host computer can only be compatible with this year's devices. If you have purchased new devices this year, you need to install the latest version of the BTS software. You can download the new version of the software from the company's official website (neware-usa.com). Before installing the new software version, please ensure that you back up your data. You can also use the software's smooth upgrade tool to update the software version.

3. If you encounter any other issues, please contact the company's after-sales department.

4. Once all of the above steps have been completed, you can use an Ethernet cable to daisy-chain the host computer and the auxiliary channel, and then connect them to the control unit of the host computer. The control unit is used for the host computer, and the tester is used for the auxiliary channel.
