From August 24 to 26, 2026, the 8th edition of Swiss Battery Days will be held at ETH Zurich (Scherrer Auditorium). Co-organized by the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa), the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), and the Swiss Battery Association (iBAT), this premier event serves as an essential platform for young researchers and leading experts to showcase breakthroughs and strengthen networks across Europe and beyond.
The conference covers the entire value chain of advanced electrochemical energy storage, including:
Material synthesis & characterization: Novel active materials, solid-state electrolytes, and interphase chemistry.
Electrode & cell manufacturing: Scaling up synthesis, electrode processing, and cell integration methodologies.
Battery data & AI applications: Dedicated sessions featuring discussions on battery data science, computational modeling, and machine learning for battery life and safety prediction.
