How to view channel logs

Latest updated: Mar 24, 2025
Video recording version: 8.0.0.483, compatible with BTSDA 8.0 software

Today, we will demonstrate how to view channel operation logs in BTS 8.0.

  • Open the BTS 8.0 software and select the desired channel.

  • Right-click and locate the "View log" option.

  • Upon clicking, it will allow you to view "Local log", "Device Log," and "SMBUS".

  • In the local logs, you can view user login records, switch records, and operation usage records. In case of any anomalies, you can identify which user made the erroneous operation.

  • The options below allow you to export records and select the time range for displaying the logs.

  • Back to device log, choose the desired device type, including control units and auxiliary channels.

  • Above, you can see the channel's step settings, operations, start and stop times, as well as device fault and error timestamps.

  • The “Class” option displays different types of logs, such as prompt logs, error logs, and warning logs.

  • Filter the log view by selecting a specific time range to examine the log information within that time frame.

That wraps up the entire demonstration. Thanks for watching.
